Association Vestigium has been active in the Zagreb district Vrbani from 2011. In Vestigium we are developing different citizen initiatives concerning local growth. Our district has 12.000 residents and still no health centre, no farmer’s market, no library and no cultural centre. Through collaboration with our partners, we promote good economy and together we want to encourage community from unsustainable to sustainable – a society that supports one and other, nature and fair distribution within the group . Throughout regular activities, occasional projects and actions we gather active citizens who want to participate in their local community (performing, cooking classes, creative projects, gardening)

Our association promotes socializing, and activism within different projects. One of those is “Green school” where we organized cleaning and renovating children parks around the school where children learned about enviroment and basic gardening. We also organize cooking classes where we teach abouth healthy food, we do classes about recycling (where we teach children how to make toys out of recyling goods), teach sewing, home repairs etc. Our goal is to include as many people as possible to act positivly in their neighborhood and create sustainale environment.
