Transition Horsham was launched in May 2008 and played a big part in the Ecofair held in Horsham Park in July of that year.
Since then we have pursued our aims of publicising and addressing locally issues around climate change, carbon, energy and sustainable living. We do this through talks, films and discussions (mainly at our Tuesday evening meetings) – and through projects such as our refill service (Saturday mornings)
A number of Transition Horsham activists are involved in growing food. We have strong links with Horsham Organic Gardeners Society and hold a Seedy Saturday event in February each year. we also collaborate with local nature reserves and with Sussex Green LivingThis group has been added to this site by the England Hub
