Kitchener-Waterloo (Transition KW)

TransitionKW’s mission is to inform, inspire and support Kitchener-Waterloo as it moves towards a more local, resilient and sustainable future.

We plan to do this by:

• Supporting individuals and communities as they transition to a future less dependent on fossil fuels;
• Raising awareness about the transition movement, climate change, peak oil, and economic instability;
• Facilitating community-level actions and events that support transition; and
• Acting as a hub for all environmental and social justice initiatives that feed into the Transition movement.
