The NMB Transition Network takes the shape of a local co-coordinating hub with the role of catalyzing and nurturing smaller Transition Initiatives around Nelson Mandela Bay Metro (Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, and Dispatch)

Much of 2010 was spent raising awareness about the issues around peak oil and climate change, but 2011 will be about getting practical, looking in particular at the issues of food and water security, and recycling.
