Winchcombe Green Town – Win Green Town for short – is the transition movement for the town of Winchcombe in Gloucestershire. The group aims to to encourage a green focus in and around Winchcombe and to find and implement local solutions that will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve the ecology and speed up the transition of Winchcombe to a more sustainable town. Win Green Town currently has six action groups:

• Transport
• Nature First – tree planting and biodiversity, including animal conservation
• Community awareness, including collaborating with schools and town council
• Waste Not – encouraging reduce, reuse and recycle
• Homes & Energy – insulation and local energy solutions
• Green Money Matters – using money to push for change
