Revitalizing the project after some time in standby. There is hope that this too will be the start of a re-imagining of the Maitland community.

Still, the group remains – wishful that again the impulse will return to bring the energy to run the group. AS Kate and I head for a semi-retirement we will be ready to assist any person who has the will to enliven the activities that brought so much joy to us and the Maitland community all those years ago.

We often think of the bike repair days and rides starting at Organic Feast in East Maitland and the part we played in the 10-cent refund campaign led by “Bev the Bottle” and days with “Clean Up Australia” and the 350 movement.

We still make approaches to Maitland Council on ideas for a better city.

We continue to provide education in Permaculture and in Biodynamics and run activities such as Nature Play and School tours of the farm and the garden.
