レニア・ティミンスキー

I have a background in languages and study of religion, and established a crosscultural education centre in Eastern Ontario, Canada, in 2000. I’ve been involved in various aspects of newcomer settlement in the Greater Toronto Area since 1989.
I did the first International Transition training offered in Canada, and helped to establish Transition PEC with support from local groups such as the County Sustainability Group, Shout Sister Community Choir, and St. Andrews church and gathering space.
I’m currently working on a cohousing project for my property, and am collaborating on a Revillaging initiative for youth engagement and crosscultural community resilience building, in collaboration with Michael Boyle of Transition Austria, a local community college, and settlement agencies in the GTA.
