We are a group of residents of Hassocks, Hurstpierpoint, Keymer and Ditchling villages in Sussex who are concerned at climate change and how we will be affected locally when cheap oil comes to an end. We believe the answer is to build strong communities that give local people the power to live more sustainable and less energy-demanding lives.

Our activities include helping promote local food through our Really Local Food Directory, a community orchard, food fairs and supporting local markets. We also organise energy fairs, a seed swap, ceilidhs, films and other educational and fun events. We work closely with local schools and other organisations to spread our message.
