Your trainer/facilitator bio

Hal has been actively involved in Transition Town Totnes since 2008, including as project manager, 2009-2010. He has been an accredited Trainer for the Transition Network since 2008.  He has been involved in engagement projects including lead roles in the Transition Streets and REconomy Projects.  He coordinates and delivers Transition-orientated study programmes and seminars in the Totnes area, working with a range of groups from schools, universities, NGOs, businesses and community organisers.  He specialises in facilitating positive, life-affirming experiences for learning, personal development, and engagement, using the community and outdoors as the classroom.  His professional background includes tourism, business development, event facilitation, training, and outdoor adventure, including leading wilderness expeditions overseas.  Hal also co-runs a seasonal canoe business on the River Dart, Devon, UK where he lives with his family.
