Your trainer/facilitator bio

Jul has been active in the Transition movement since 2007, working on local, national and international initiatives. She is the co-founder of the Inner Resilience Network and Director of the Era of Care project. She has hosted hundreds of discussions, events and classes in community resilience, wellness and related topics. She has a private holistic health practice, is an Interfaith Minister and holds a Interdisciplinary Masters with academic work in eco-philosophy, dialogue and critical thinking. She holds numerous trainings with a strong focus on community resiliency, trauma healing and wellness, including ITRC, Thomas Huebl’s Collective Trauma work, CMBM community facilitators model and TRI personal trauma and resiliency practice, among others. She has focused her work on personal/collective resilience, organizing discussions around intercultural healing, nature based practices, climate justice and psycho-spiritual issues. She is a member of the Inner Transition Circle in the International Transition Network, and served on the Transition US Collaborative Design Council. She was also on the organizing team for two national Summits. She is currently working with Indigenous communities, on intercultural healing and on Inner Resilience trainings crafted for a wider audience outside Transition.
She has been based on the North Coast area of California and is also a performance artist, poet, outdoor adventurer and a mom.
