Your trainer/facilitator bio
After taking Transition Launch in 2012, I was so inspired that I immediately did Train-the-Trainer in 2013. After co-facilitating a few transition launch workshops, as a new mother I mainly did work in our local initiative in Essen for a while. At the same time, designing and facilitating workshops has been part of my professional life for many years. In 2017 I took part in organising the German-speaking transition network conference for that year.
After that, I for the second time moved to the Findhorn Foundation, one of the oldest and biggest eco villages of GEN. I see the Transition movement and the Global Ecovillage Network as very closely related in their ethos and principles and feel greatly inspired when I can take my ecovillage experiences into the transition context.
I have recently also cooperated with activists from parents for future and health for future and have taken part in think tank events to communicate transition principles in this context. I have also become quite active in organizing educational events for the hospital I have worked in until recently and in promoting the work of health for future.
I have recently started to design and hold workshops for activists on transition and ecovillage principles together with a long term workshop facilitator from the Findhorn Foundation and am in the process of designing workshops on the use of meditation and visualization in the process of the realization of utopian projects.
